These high quality decals are reproduced on Mylar and vinyl. They are self adhesive and very thin so they have the look of the original water slide decals used on many of the old engines like Briggs & Stratton, Clinton, Gladden, Lauson, Reo, Tecumseh and Wisconsin.

On the original engines these decals were what is called a water slide decal, they were very thin layers of lacquer on a glue base, you soaked the decal in water and slid onto the painted surface of the engine, some of the problems with water slide decals are that the medium is very delicate and subject to tearing and wrinkling.

My friend Gene came to me a few years ago and wanted a more durable decal for his Briggs & Stratton 6S so I started the search for a better medium for the decals.

While taking to Bob and Mary I found that Mylar and Vinyl might be the answer. So Mary set out to make our first decal, they were done on aviation grade Mylar and turned out great, easy to apply, no water; very durable and about as fuel proof as you can get.

Today we have many decals to choose from and always looking for more, I would like to add more Clinton and Lauson decals to our lineup.

Thanks for coming to my page, I will be bringing more pictures and links to this site and as always my decals are available in my eBay store Engine Decals.

These decals are self adhesive with a peel off backing.

1) Clean surface throughly, remove all oil and loose paint.

2) Determine the proper placement of the decals, Mary suggests a strip of masking tape to hold decal in place.

3) Carefully remove the backing and press down with a soft cloth or sponge removing all the air bubbles as you apply.

4) Enjoy your finished reproduction.
